Knee
Here's a knee I finished recently. The linework and black shading are healed. With the colours being fresh. Kept a minimal 'traditional' colour palette for this one.

Death!
My client wanted one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. We chose DEATH as it lends itself to tattooing too easily! I made a traditional version with soft whipshading.

Siren
My client sent me through a drawing that another artist had done. It depicted a mermaid with a nautical scene - ship, waves etc. It also had roses and a lantern, that didn't seem to fit. Which meant there was no running theme, for such a large detailed drawing. So I stripped back the ideas and made this. A siren, which is/was the course of death for many lusty sea voyagers. The tattoo has been started, it will take a couple more sessions before it is finished!

Autopsy
My client originally wanted the autopsy 'cut marks'. Essentially black dotted lines. But I threw him a curve ball and we ended up tattooing the 'cut' instead. It's a tattooers job to incite excitement and enthusiasm when it comes to ideas.

Sheldon, the cat.
I love doing 'one shots'. It's really satisfying to complete a tattoo in one sitting. Alex who is an old client of mine asked me to tattoo a 'gentrified' version of her cat, Sheldon. So, here he is. Right above the knee.
Day of the dead.
Really enjoyable tattoo finished. It was the clients 1st tattoo. It's always an honour to be asked to do someone's 1st, no matter the size or content.
Finished in 2 sittings. Most of the tattoo is healed, the rest is fresh. ⚡️

Mendhi inspired pattern on a forearm. Dotted and lined, for different textures. Photograph was taken around 4/5wks after the tattoo was made.

Introduction
My name is Kurt Marlow. I am a tattooer at Gung ho! Tattoo, in Birmingham, UK. I have been tattooing for 6yrs. My tattoos vary in style, as I like to see myself as more of an 'all rounder' rather than working in one discipline. I have a simple life, with no need for an ego. I enjoy tattooing and painting, so here is my work. Thank you for looking.
